Trade-Category and Specialist-Based Matching
HandyFabricator does not use unvetted open bidding. The platform employs trade-category and specialist-based matching with partner verification and readiness controls. Project scopes are routed only to partners who meet trade eligibility, verified capacity, and geographic service standards.
Matching Framework Dimensions:
- Trade Specialization: Matches required trade against verified skill profiles. During the current Indore pilot, matching focuses on fabrication and welding trades (MS structural fabrication, SS railings, aluminium windows & glazing), while broader finishing trades are planned on the platform roadmap.
- Operational Locality: Considers partner workshop distance to job site within the approved Indore pilot service area.
- Partner Readiness Status: Only active partners with completed phone, identity, and trade verification receive project requests.
- Workload Capacity: Avoids overcommitting active trade partners beyond verified labor and equipment capacity.
The Scope Review & Quotation Process
When a customer submits a project request in your matched trade and area, verified partners follow this structured sequence:
- Specification Notification: Review architectural drawings, structural requirements, material grades, and completion timelines.
- Site Assessment or Clarification: Confirm site dimensions, access constraints, and power availability if required.
- Scope Estimate Submission: Provide transparent quotes itemizing fabrication labor, material grade compliance, and installation schedule.
- Customer Approval & Milestone Lock: Once approved, the project milestone schedule is created in the platform before work commences.
Fairness & Quality Controls
To preserve trade excellence and fair opportunity for all local workshops:
- Quotes must adhere to declared material grades and structural safety specifications.
- Partners are evaluated on milestone punctuality, safety practices, and fabrication workmanship.
- Repeated non-responsiveness or unverified subcontracting may result in matching de-prioritization.
